HRRC Senior Expo
10:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Seniors from all communities are invited to attend HRRC's third annual Senior Expo. Workshops and exhibitors will help seniors plan ahead to protect their biggest investment – their home. Speakers will discuss such topics as understanding homeowner’s insurance and how to use it, deciding which home improvements will have the biggest effect on your home’s resale value, options for using your home’s equity to pay for repairs and improvements, and avoiding scams by unscrupulous lenders and contractors. Light refreshments will be provided.

Notice of potential power outages in University Heights

FirstEnergy has notified the city of University Heights that there will be power outages in the area to safely trim trees around power lines. The power outage is expected for Tuesday, September 1, and power crews will work to keep the outage as brief as possible. These streets may be affected: Barrington Road, Brockway Road, Cranston Road and Silsby Road.
