University Heights Meeting regarding traffic and safety issues around Heights High

University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld and UH Police Chief Steven Hammett will meet with UH residents to talk about changes in traffic patterns in the vicinity of the high school as well as answer any additional safety questions residents may have. Two meetings are scheduled: Monday, August 3 and Monday, August 10, both at 7 p.m.

Instructor: Ernie Fisco, Advanced Plumbing & Drain
Participants will:
Know the location and function of sanitary sewers and storm sewers;
Know how to use an electric sewer snake to clear clogged sewer lines;
Understand the function of a clean out and how it is constructed and installed;
Understand alternatives to a complete dig-down if a drain line must be replaced.
Open to residents of all communities. Reservations required; call (216) 381-6100, ext. 16 or email workshops@hrrc-ch.org. Be sure to provide a daytime phone number so we can get back to you! Modest materials fee charged (call for details or see www.hrrc-ch.org).

Gentle Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Gentle Yoga – This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
