Gary Pearlman attempts to break Guinness World Record

Cleveland native Mr. Pearlman, also known as Dr. U.R. Awesome will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Free Floating Soap Bubble Created Outdoors. The attempt will be made on the grass of Wade Oval. Mr. Pearlman will then move inside the Cleveland Botanical Garden in Clark Hall, to attempt to break the existing record for the largest free floating bubble.
Big Fun, will sponsor a Bubble Palooza with a bubble exhibition and hands-on bubble fun for kids and families from 10 a.m. to noon. Free.

Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Anyone 13 years of age or older interested in making a difference in the lives of others is welcome to attend this training. Most volunteers interested in working with patients both full sessions while volunteers in non patient areas and teen volunteers only attend the first 4 hours on June 20. RSVP required. Contact the Volunteer Team at 800-707-8922 (6881). Classes are also offered at other times and days throughout the year. Deepen your understanding of the Reiki energy, and your relationship with it. You will become “attuned” to the next level of Universal healing energy and learn sacred symbols that help strengthen your intentions for treating yourself, other people and your pets. You will also learn how to give Reiki treatments from a distance – physical distance as well as time distance (healing the past and supporting the future).
We will also discuss intuitive and shamanic healing methods, and how to incorporate pendulums, crystals and aromatherapy into your treatments. This class is taught in the traditional Usui method. Please bring a brown bag lunch.
(Classes are also available by appointment, just ask!)
