University Heights Public Hearing about NatureWorks Program

The City of University Heights is eligible to apply for funding available from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) through the NatureWorks Program. The NatureWorks Program provides up to 75% reimbursement to municipalities for the development of public outdoor recreational areas. The project under consideration for funding is the construction and installation of a new playground at Community Park.
This public hearing will give citizens an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed NatureWorks Program application before submission on May 1, 2015. Funding eligibility and proposed project details will be discussed. Citizens are encouraged to attend in order to express their views and comments on the City's proposed project.
