Violin Masterclass Performance
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Observe and enjoy a master class performance of accomplished violin students led by Amy Lee, Associate Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra. Selected students in grades 6-12 from Cleveland area schools will perform music of their choice.
Please arrive by 9:55 a.m. Great opportunity for music students, educators and music lovers!

Forest Hill Park Garlic Mustard Pull

The Friends of the Great Meadow, Forest Hill Park are sponsoring 3 dates for a garlic mustard pull event. Garlic mustard is an invasive species that can only be eliminated by digging out the roots. If removed before the plant blooms, we can prevent this weed from spreading. We need volunteers to help with this task. We have scheduled 3 dates: Sunday, April 12; Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 26 - all from 1-3 p.m.
Location:
We will be meeting at the large Cleveland Hts. parking lot by the ballfields off of Lee Blvd. The lot entrance is between Monticello Blvd. and Forest Hills Blvd.

Favorite Poem Project

We’re celebrating National Poetry Month with the return of FPP! Founder Robert Pinsky believes that poetry is a vocal art, so spend a relaxed afternoon listening to your friends, neighbors, and local residents read a favorite poem and share the reasons they enjoy it so much and the impact it has had on their lives. Registration is required for readers only, and begins on March 12.

Benefit concert to raise proceeds for the children's organization UNICEF.
Cleveland Orchestra Principal Brass Players Michael Sachs, Massimo LaRosa and Yasuhito Sugiyama, alongside Cleveland Institute of Music Faculty Ralitsa Georgieva-Smith, Linda Jones and Marla Berg, present "An Afternoon at the Opera."
Followed by a wonderful dessert reception sponsored by local artisan bakeries and live jazz provided by the Jason Smith Quartet.
