Yoga for Lean Bodies *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga - Vinyasa (flowing) yoga is a powerful component of a healthy lifestyle that aids in creating a leaner body. We move very actively through poses in this class, keeping an elevated heart rate to help burn calories. The body awareness and present-moment awareness that we learn in yoga also help us to be more conscious of what we put into our bodies, and helps us to be gentle and accepting of ourselves along our lean body journey. This is an active level class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience or those who are already fairly physically fit.

Under Mendelsohn's Dome: Visions of Park Synagogue

Join the Park Synagogue for Shabbat services as we kick-off a weekend celebration honoring world-renowned architect, Eric Mendelsohn. The morning sermon will be given by Park Synagogue Senior Rabbi Joshua Skoff of Architecture & Religious Observance. Following services, view the special exhibit of original Mendelsohn sketches, photographs, and other memorabilia.
Services begin at 9:00 am; sermon at approximately 10:45 am; exhibit hours 12:15-3:00 pm.

In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students' desires and abilities.

> Experience proven stress relief practices for pregnancy, birth and beyond
> Increase comfort during this special time by including partner assistance
Note that this workshop provides techniques that can be used early on in the pregnancy; it is most recommended for those in their third trimester.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothes for physical practices, breathing exercises and guided relaxation.
$45 per mom-to-be plus one companion ($40 if paid by early enrollment deadline of March 4).
If signing up online, just one person of each couple needs to register.

Disney's Jungle Book at Heights Youth Theatre

DIG THAT CRAZY BEAT, MAN! The elephants are marching madly and the jungle is jumping with jazz in this exciting, HYT first! Raised by wolves, Mowgli must decide between the jungle he has always known, and the village just beyond. Mowgli journeys towards his decision through the help of some very colorful characters: protected by a parental panther, led astray by a sly snake, befriended by a laid-back bear, snatched by some swinging monkeys, and tracked by a terrifying tiger. Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through zany adventures and avoid the ferocious Shere Khan in this Disney classic. With live action, hot music, acrobatic acting, and a mob of madcap puppets, we’ll go way beyond “The Bare Necessities”, to bring this crowd-pleasing musical to life for audiences of all ages.
