Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga - This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students' desires and abilities.

Sixth Annual Week of Islamic Art and Culture

The Sixth annual Week of Islamic Art and Culture at JCU continues today with Johnathan Brown, giving a talk entitled "A Mercy to All the Worlds: How Muslims Have Viewed the Prophet Muhammad Over the Centuries." Dr. Brown is Associate Professor of Islam and Muslim-Christian Understanding and Associate Director of the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding in Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

Gentle Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga - This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
