Learn about Waldorf education and a new school opening in the Heights.
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
An information session about Waldorf education will be held on Thursday December 6th, including an update on plans to open a Waldorf-inspired school in Fall 2013 offering early childhood and K through grade 4.

Waldorf education is a contemporary of Montessori, both born in Europe in the early 1900s. Waldorf Education is based on a profound understanding of human development that addresses the needs of the growing child. Waldorf teachers strive to transform education into an art that educates the whole child — head, heart and hands. As of 2012, there are over 1,000 independent Waldorf schools and 2,000 kindergartens around the world. Ohio has 2 Waldorf schools: the Cincinnati Waldorf School, and Spring Garden Waldorf School in Copley.
