Little Italy December Art Walk

Don’t miss Cleveland’s biggest Art Walk of the year in Historic Little Italy. Over 100 visiting artists and exhibits from local, regional, national and international artists. Cedar Fairmount Holiday Walk

Cedar Fairmount merchants will offer specials; there will be music, Santa Claus and more. Ten Thousand Villages and Appletree Books will donate 15% of their sales from 6 to 8 pm to Cedar Fairmount SID.

Cash Mob at Revive Fair Trade

Come join the community in supporting a local, independent business in Cleveland Heights. A cash mob will be held at Revive Fair Trade, 2248 Lee Rd from 5-8pm. Participants are encouraged to head over to Brennan's Colony, 2299 Lee Road or Tavern Company, 2260 Lee Road, for $1 off drinks when you show your Revive receipt.

Beth El-The Heights Synagogue will present a Scholar in Residence weekend with Rabbis Arthur Waskow and Phyllis Berman beginning Friday, November 30 through Sunday December 2. The weekend will feature discussions on environmental ethics and climate change, the cycles of the Jewish year, and storytelling as a path for social change. Rabbi Waskow is the co-founder and Executive Director of The Shalom Center in Philadelphia, an organization which works to infuse Jewish and multi-faith spirituality into action on broad social fronts such as peace and environmental protection. Rabbi Berman is a Jewish and secular educator who has worked closely with immigrant populations and is renowned as a leading Jewish-renewal liturgist, prayer leader, story-writer, and story-teller.

“Stretch and Unwind” *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga

Stretch and Unwind *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga - This Friday class is a perfect way to end the week. We combine basic yoga poses with deep stretching to help relax tired bodies and busy minds. This is a slow moving class, perfect for beginners as well as advanced yogis. We learn how to use bolsters and blocks to support us while we deepen into a comfortable stretch, and we also learn how to use our breathing to help deepen the stretches. These supported poses also give us an opportunity to practice methods for relaxing our minds and letting go of our to-do list. A great way to get rejuvenated for the weekend!
