Watch Party for Governor Strickland’s Conversation on Education
Governor Ted Strickland is hosting a series of regional forums on education reform. At each forum, Governor Strickland will give citizens the opportunity to share their thoughts on creating a system of education that is innovative, personalized, and linked to economic prosperity in Ohio. CH-UH Schools will host a Watch Party of the live broadcast at the Board of Education (2155 Miramar Blvd.) on August 6 from 4:30 – 7 p.m. To get more individuals involved in the discussion, the District will have a facilitated conversation on education immediately following Governor Strickland’s Forum. Feedback gathered from the discussion will be sent to Governor Strickland’s advisors.

RTA PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED FARE INCREASES & BUS CUTS/ELIMINATIONS
CALLING ON ALL RTA BUS & RAPID RIDERS!!
Now is the time to speak out! RTA is proposing a GIGANTIC fare increase and MAJOR BUS CUTS. Some routes are proposed to be ELIMINATED PERMANENTLY. If you have something to say about the amount fare is proposed to increase, or you don't want your bus service cut, attend the hearing and share your thoughts with RTA. Comments can also be recieved at public-comment@gcrta.org no later than 8/18/08. Please attend and let your voices be heard!!
