Journey to Bethlehem at Disciples Christian Church
On Sunday, Dec. 14, continuously from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Disciples Christian Church will present a walk-through drama that recreates the sights and sounds of Bethlehem’s marketplace at the time of Christ’s birth.

Before you enter Bethlehem, have an audience with King Herod and then be counted in the census.

Once in Bethlehem, interact with street merchants as well as view some animals. Watch craftsmen at their work and be prodded along by Roman guards. Listen while townspeople, shepherds and other biblical characters set the stage for the discovery of the newborn baby in the stable.

As you wait your turn to enter Bethlehem, you could be entertained by the No Strings Attached puppets. You could also listen to performances by the church’s Chancel Choir or soloists and participate in a Christmas carol sing-along.

Western Reserve Chorale Winter Concert
Join us for this free program of Choral Works with Brass Accompaniment. The concert will be performed at Grace Lutheran Church.

The Chorale, based in Cleveland Heights since 1992 is comprised of 70 singers.

The Western Reserve Chorale, formed in 1992, is a non-profit group comprised of both amateur and professional singers. The mission of the Chorale is to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Cleveland, Ohio and its suburbs by providing free, high quality performances of choral music of diverse periods and styles, thus enriching the lives of both the performers and the listeners.
